Greetings

Welcome to Aging Intervention Medicine (A.I.M.), where we prioritize your health with effective, evidence-based medicine with one general goal in mind: to promote a longer, healthy life.   Tired of unreliable information and listening to every supplement salesmen purporting to have the magic potion to ever lasting life, you have come to the right place.   AIM operates under a belief that most, if not all, disease and illness is caused by a disuption of the epigenome as a result of the biological aging process.  Our approach  to treatment is grounded in what is considered the most reliable sources in the developed world derived from the top peer-reviewed journals and experts in the field that have evidenced results whom  we consult with to bring you cutting-edge treatments that aim to slow, stop, or even reverse aging. and ward off age related disease. We hope you join us on the journey to a longer, healthier life.

A.I.M. Longer

At Aging Intervention Medicine, or A.I.M., our goal is not only to give a patient a longer life, but to give a patient a longer health span.  With advances in medical science it is becoming ever more clear that most of the disease and sickness experienced during our lifetime is strongly influenced by our bodies biological aging process.  A process now understood to play a significant role in most diseases, if not all.

Our body's organs all age at slightly different rates.   Those that experience illness statistically earlier than others are now believed to have rapidly aged in that area. as a result of a malfunctioning epi-genome, which controls which genes are read and which are not read in maintaining cellular identity.

A malfunction in the epigenome is know to correlate strongly with methylation tags that appear on the DNA in certain places on the DNA chain. It is notable that there is evidence that all living things, not just humans, age the same way with these tags appearing at the same points on the DNA chain, but do so at varying rates of speed dictated by the expectation of lifespan. The correlation is so strong that it is now possible to predict the mortality and age of an individual by comparing the methylation tags on ones DNA to a data base of thousands of other individuals and coming up with a biological age.

Biological age and chronological age in individuals can therefore be slightly different as a result of lifestyle, genetic profiles as well as environmental stress.  These factors cause damage to our cells disrupting the epigenome. There is a growing body of evidence that this disruption is the root cause of all diseases associated with growing old.

AIM treats its patients with this underlying premise in mind.  Accordingly AIM treatments are designed to restore cellular health using two pathways shown in multiple studies to be effective in treating cellular health.
